With 28 years of experience, Erich zumBrunnen is a registered architect and LEED-accredited design professional who specializes in integrating advanced design technology into the architectural process. At Hillside Architecture, Erich leads the development of BIM workflows and digital visualization strategies that enhance project efficiency, coordination, and quality. His expertise spans architectural design, construction documentation, and administration, with a focus on using digital tools to support detail-oriented, collaborative project delivery.Erich’s career includes award-winning work such as the Grand Forks High School Fine and Performing Arts Addition (2013 North Dakota AIA Honor Award) and One West Drive (2024 Finance & Commerce Top Project). He thrives on the challenge of blending design excellence with technical precision and is passionate about mentoring teams and advancing standards in BIM and construction documentation. Outside the office, Erich enjoys time with his wife Roslyn—Hillside’s VP of Interior Design—their two daughters, and their dogs, often outdoors playing frisbee or going for walks.
